The beginning of 2019 saw the successful sell down of Stage 2.0 of the Augusta Industrial Fund. Established in 2018 and initially consisting of four properties, Augusta Industrial secured a further five assets in early 2019, bringing the total portfolio value to $296.7 million and comprising 47 tenants across three cities. As with Stage 1.0 of Augusta Industrial Fund Limited, Stage 2.0 of the investment closed oversubscribed, with numerous enquiries still being received after the closing date.
Also closing oversubscribed at a similar time was Augusta’s most recent Australian investment opportunity, 255-257 Gympie Road, Kedron, Brisbane - a well-located high exposure property with five established tenants and fixed rental growth. Interest was very strong, illustrating the increasing investor appetite for Australian investment opportunities.
